GCY at IDEO for Social Impact Lab
Today, Global Citizen Year was invited to IDEO for an hour of brainstorming on a project-specific design challenge facing the organization. We came with 2 big questions:
1. How might Global Citizen Year engage volunteers and supporters to build a movement?
2. What products/media would support movement building?
In a little under 45 minutes we placed over 100 ideas on the wall using sticky notes. The ideas ranged from building a storytelling Facebook application to placing Global Citizen Year “tuck-in” inserts into language textbooks. Now it’s time for us to turn those ideas into impact.
