After months of anticipation, our Fellows have finally arrived!  We’ve kicked off our Fall Training with a day full of introductory activities, getting to know our 57 Fellows and the diverse backgrounds from which they all come.  We’ve explored the concept of diversity itself, begun to understand the subtleties of cross-cultural communication, and taken some time to reflect on hopes and expectations for the year ahead.  We’ve also learned about the history and vision of Global Citizen Year and mapped out the sessions and activities planned for the next two weeks – it’s going to be a busy and exciting time, and our Fellows are already off to a great start.

Meanwhile, a few more local features have appeared – this time in Manitowoc and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin – congrats to Maddie Campbell and Charlotte Benishek for this great press!

Training continues tomorrow with a day of team-building activities led by our friends from Outward Bound, followed by sessions on Mindfulness, Reflection, and Leadership to round out the week.  Stay tuned for more updates as training progresses!
