Inspired by her family's dedication to mission work, Lillie is passionate about service. She is active within both her school and church communities, and has taken several service trips throughout the US. Having had a taste of these eye-opening short term missions, Lillie craves the wonderfully unpredictable changes in her world view that a year in another culture can offer her. She hopes that from this year she will emerge with a better interpretation of herself, a new culture, and the world around her.
