FUND A FELLOW

We need your support to make Global Citizen Year a reality for students from all backgrounds. A tax-deductible contribution of $25,000 funds one Fellow throughout their engagement with GCY. We welcome donations of any amount, and hope you will help us build the movement to prepare a new generation of global leaders.

GCY believes that the ability to pay should not prevent a student from participating. Thus, each Fellow’s program fee is determined on a sliding scale and the majority of our Fellows receive need-based financial aid. No matter what financial assistance is offered from GCY, all families contribute $500, and all Fellows are supported in raising at least $2,000 toward the cost of participation.

Who are the Fellows?

Each year we solicit student applications through networks of high schools, college access programs and universities. Our rigorous selection process identifies students with leadership potential and commitment. Once selected, Fellows defer college enrollment for one year to enroll with GCY.
