Julia Tinneny

Julia is involved in her community through her church's food drive, volunteering as a camp counselor, assistant teaching CCD, and being a member of both National Honor Society and Key Club. Through all of these roles, Julia has developed a passion for helping others and a thirst to meet people who can expand her perspective on the world and the changes that can be made in it. Julia's work in a local retirement community has helped her appreciate the wisdom and experiences of its residents, and in turn the residents are eager to hear about Julia's adventure when she returns. On her Global Citizen Year, Julia hopes to gain a different outlook, expand her horizons, and learn to find happiness in a new environment.
